What data we process and for what purpose
- Contact form: name and email address, to handle and respond to your inquiry.
- “Customize your glasses” form: the child's first name, and the postal address and email address of the parent or guardian, to send personalized stickers and brand gifts to your home and, only if you check the corresponding box, to send you commercial communications regarding Lunettines news.
- Newsletter: name and email address, to send you Lunettines news, provided you have checked the acceptance box.
- Optician finder: the postal code you enter is used only in your browser to calculate the nearest optician; it is not stored or sent to our servers.
- Browsing: technical data collected via cookies (see Cookie Policy).
Providing this data is voluntary, but necessary to be able to provide the requested service (responding to your inquiry or sending the stickers). If you do not provide it, we will not be able to fulfill your request.
Legal basis.
The legal basis is your express consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time, and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries received (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Commercial communications always require your specific consent via a non-pre-ticked box.
Minors
Our products are designed for children, but this website is aimed at their parents or guardians, who are the ones providing the data. We only process the child's first name, provided by the adult, to personalize the stickers. The legal basis for processing the minor's name is the consent granted by their parent or legal guardian, who declares to hold such representation (Art. 8 GDPR and Art. 7 LOPDGDD). We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 14 years of age.
Recipients.
We do not share your data with third parties, except for legal obligations and the courier or postal services necessary to send the gifts. This site operates on the Shopify International Ltd. platform, which acts as a data processor and may involve international transfers protected by standard contractual clauses and other GDPR guarantees.
Retention.
Contact data is kept for the time necessary to handle your request; shipping and marketing data, until you withdraw your consent or request its deletion (all our emails include an unsubscribe link).
Security.
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration, in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR.
Rights.
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection, restriction, and portability, as well as withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing, by writing to hello@lunettines.com and attaching a document proving your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
