Lunettines was born from the union of two inseparable perspectives: our experience as vision care professionals and our own lives as parents of children who wear glasses.
When it came time to choose their first frames, we realized that picking out glasses for a child means much more than just finding a suitable model. We wanted something special, something that would spark their excitement to wear them, but that would also respect their facial features and allow them to keep feeling like themselves.
Because, from the moment a child starts wearing glasses, they become part of their identity. They accompany them at school, in their games, in their adventures, and in all those little moments that make up their daily life.
We are passionate about fashion and believe in the value of choosing well those pieces we wear every day that express our style. But glasses are much more than that; they become part of a child's identity: how they see themselves, how others recognize and describe them, and the image they will keep of their childhood. They will be present in their photographs, their adventures, and many of their memories. That is why choosing them is not picking out a simple accessory, but a piece that will accompany them as they grow and, in some way, become part of their story.
